Here at Focus Foster Care, we are proud to have a diverse group of individuals on our fostering panel. All of our panel members bring their own unique experiences to the approval process and play an essential role in welcoming new foster carers to our growing team.

Meet The Fostering Panel

Name: Jenny Packeer

Occupation: Retired social worker for children and families, including fostering services.

How long have you been on the Focus Foster Care panel?: Approximately two years.

What do you enjoy about working for Focus Foster Care?: Seeing children’s needs being met by ordinary yet wonderful people who chose to Foster.

What is one important thing that you have learnt about fostering since you joined Focus Foster Care?:
No matter what the rules and regulations, policies and procedures, it’s the relationships between children and their carers that matter the most.

What are your hobbies and interests?: Holidays ( since retiring and post covid), reading, jigsaws, knitting and salsa!
