Introducing our superhero drawing competition winners.
As the coronavirus pandemic continues across the world and here in the UK lockdown restrictions are slowly being eased, as a country we are more grateful than ever for our everyday heroes. The weekly applause may have stopped but key workers and NHS staff are still greatly appreciated and we all remain thankful for all the hard work they do. Foster Carers have been heroes during this pandemic and are during more normal times too. Foster carers help children get through some of the most difficult and traumatic times of their lives and help to give them the opportunity of a happier and brighter future. Foster carers can help biological families stay together in the long term and help children by providing a safe and loving environment.
Foster carers are often hidden heroes in society and we wanted to celebrate foster carers, key workers, NHS staff and all the other everyday heroes with a drawing competition. In May we launched our ‘Create your own Superhero’ competition and we would now like to introduce you to our winners. Fear not, there’s a new team of superheroes in town!
Focus Foster Care superhero drawing competition winners.
We are very proud to introduce you to Dan. Dan is a superhero with powers including being really strong, helping people and rescuing people in need.

Next to join our new superhero team is Lightning Speed. Lightning Speed’s powers include breathing fire, breathing ice and turning invisible.

Our final superhero doesn’t have a name but is a very worthy winner as her super power is saving the world from Covid-19. We are very grateful to have this superhero join the Focus team of heroes.

All there is left to say is a big welcome to the Focus Foster Care team Dan, Lightning Speed and Protector from Covid-19, along with our inspirational foster carers we thank you for all your hard work. We also want to say a big well done to our three winners, you have done a great job at creating these unique superheroes, we hope you enjoy your prize.
Not all heroes wear capes but all foster carers are heroes. Fostering can change children’s lives in the most positive of ways, please get in touch if you would like to find out more about joining our team.
